"End of Day" glass was the term used for items that glass workers in England made at the end of their work day. They tried to use up any remaining glass they had. It could be a mixture of many different colors. When the glass workers were finished for the day they would throw whatever they had leftover into the sea. The glass works were the busiest in the mid 1800's. Today we get beautiful multi shaded pieces of sea glass from England.
