Keeping It Simple

Usually when I am designing a sea glass necklace, I am trying to create something elegant with perhaps a bit of sparkle. I want to make something with sea glass that makes a woman feel pretty and special when she is wearing it. Once in a while, though it is nice to just stick to the basics that Mother Nature has so graciously provided for us. When I am walking along the beach, I get almost as excited when I find a beautiful, purple and white quahog shell that has been smoothed and shined by the waves, as I do when I discover a smooth and frosty piece of sea glass! I have had fun designing a simple sea glass necklace to showcase these gifts from Mother Nature. It can be strung on sterling or cord. Sea glass, plain shells, quahog shells, pottery, or even small stones can be added. Worn in the summer over a white tee, it is a great way to connect with your nature loving self! Sometimes it's nice to just keep it simple.....
