My Work Space

I love my little room where I can close the door and create sea glass jewelry. It may not be fancy, but it is my special retreat. I do most of my work on a recycled desk that is situated by the window to get lots of light. The beautiful colors of the sea glass on my desk just come to life when the sun hits them. Someday, I would like to invest in a white work table....I notice that it is easier for me to see the findings and jewelry pieces against a white background. Every inch of the room is filled with supplies. Each different sea glass design requires different jewelry findings. I also have photography equipment and packaging supplies. For now, when I need to do my drilling, I take over a small space on the kitchen counter. Someday, it would be great to have a place to drill the sea glass right in the same work space (and my family would also appreciate that!) I have a bulletin board which is covered with "inspirational" photos. My computer and printer take up another corner of the room. I have finally removed the exercise bench that was in the room, because it wasn't getting any use! My special room might not work for everyone, but for me it is Perfect and I am always happy to be there creating sea glass jewelry!
