Let me be honest. If I could, I would happily just stay in my office all day and create sea glass jewelry, put it on my website and hope it sells. Unfortunately, it doesn't really work that way. I have been making sea glass jewelry for a little over 3 years now and I really believe my biggest challenge is "getting found". My passion for sea glass and creating jewelry happens to be the passion of a million others as well!!!!! To say the field is competitive is an understatement. SO, that being said, I am so very happy to have connected with Beth Colt and her Learning Lunches.
Once a week, at Quicks Hole Tavern in Woods Hole, she has been holding very helpful and informative sessions on the different aspects of social media. These have included: photography tips, facebook strategies, tips for building your brand, and soon will be including info on twitter, instagram, blogging, etc.. Last week I used some of her tips in my facebook post and received more likes and interaction than I ever have before!!! Thanks Beth:)) OH, I can't forget to mention that while we are learning all of these wonderful tips, we are being served a Delicious meal from the tavern. It is definitely a Win Win situation!!
Slowly, with more consistent posting and blogging and participation in craft fairs, I feel like people are starting to become familiar with the name Coastal Charms Sea Glass Jewelry.
