During Recovery from Cancer Surgery, I Found Peace by Interacting With Nature

I am a cancer survivor.  I think that's the first time I've ever written those words.

It's been 7 years since my diagnosis of breast cancer, my double mastectomy, radiation treatment, and drug therapy.

I prefer to keep moving forward and don't really like to think about those days, BUT it's what inspires me!

I'm looking forward to January 2018, when I'll be sending in a check to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  Thanks to everyone who's purchased Coastal Charms Sea Glass Jewelry:)  88% of every dollar goes to breast cancer research. 3% goes to awareness programs.

Next year, I'd like to make the donation more personal and help out someone who is trying to finance treatment.  If I can figure out how to make that happen, I think it would be more meaningful.

In the meantime, I'll continue searching for sea glass on my therapeutic beach walks.  I'll continue to create sea glass jewelry designs to remind you of nature and the beach, and I'll continue praying for an end to breast cancer!!

Sending you love & prayers. I also was diagnosed with breast cancer last August. I have gone through 4 surgeries and radiation. It’s awesome what you do. Good luck to you!
