How are You Celebrating Mother's Day?

How do you make your mother feel special?  I've always loved this day and being able to show my mother how special she was to me.

Did you know that the idea of Mother's Day was first conceived by Anna Jarvis of Philadelphia?  In 1914, President Woodrow Wilson declared the second Sunday of May to be Mother's Day.

Back in the 16th century in England, there was "Mothering Sunday", the day everyone would visit their mother!:)

Our mothers do SO MUCH for us and we often take it for granted as kids....it isn't until we're much older that we can fully appreciate all they do and sacrifice for us.

If your mother is still living, I hope you have the chance to spend some quality time with her on Sunday.  Let her know how much she's appreciated and loved:)

Enjoy Sunday with the important women in your life!!  I'm very grateful to have a fun baseball game to watch (hopefully, my son gets to play) and then dinner at my step daughters :))
